This takes you to the banks of Loch Lomond and the West Highland Way. For the energetic, you can walk or cycle around Loch Katrine on the The Great Trossachs Path and Katrine North Shore Route. This is an undulating 13 miles scenic trek to the Trossachs Pier, where there is a cafe and bikes for hire. A more leisurely option is to take the Lady of the Lake ferry from Stronachlachar Pier to the Trossachs Pier.

Loch Ard Forest is about 10 miles from Lochside House on the way to Aberfoyle. Loch Ard is considered to be one of the most picturesque lochs in The Trossachs and Scotland. This vast forest covers 37 square miles there are a number of trails to suit all tastes for cycling and walking.
Aberfoyle and East Loch Lomond
Just outside Aberfoyle is the Lodge Forest Visitor Centre, with a cafe, car parking and toilets. The varied trails include panoramic views, a waterfall, and a gentle stroll to more strenuous walks.You can also enjoy the Three Lochs Forest Drive or discover the ancient oakwoods at East Loch Lomond.
Experienced walkers can aim for the spectacular summits of Ben A’an, Ben Venue, Ben Ledi and Ben Lomond.
